Job Title: UI/UX Mobile Application Designer

Location: Remote (Hybrid in Thane after initial months)

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹70,000/month (based on experience)

Working Days: 6 days a week (Sunday off)

Overtime: Required as per project deadlines; bonuses applicable

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated UI/UX Designer who specializes in mobile application design. You should be passionate about creating user-centered designs and capable of owning the product design process end-to-end. You will play a key role in designing intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing applications that meet business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design user interfaces and experiences for mobile (iOS/Android) and hybrid apps.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Ensure designs meet WCAG AA accessibility standards.
  • Understand platform-specific design principles (Flutter, React Native, etc.).
  • Provide strategic UX recommendations based on user behavior and trends.
  • Work on tight timelines with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs.
  • Ensure visual consistency, proper color palettes, typography, and layouts aligned with brand and UI standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design (preferably in mobile app design).
  • Proficient in industry-standard prototyping tools : Figma, Axure, InVision, Adobe XD.
  • Skilled in design software : Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and UI tools like Sketch, Zeplin, or Framer.
  • Strong understanding of design systems, design tokens, and component libraries.
  • Solid grasp of interaction design, user research, and usability principles.
  • Experience designing for hybrid mobile applications (e.g., Flutter, React Native).
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and human interface guidelines.
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA standards for accessibility.
  • Exceptional visual design skills with attention to detail in typography, color theory, and spacing.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in motion design, micro-interactions, or animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Principle).
  • Exposure to frontend technologies to better communicate with developers.
  • Prior experience working in startup environments.
  • Portfolio showcasing mobile app projects with a focus on UI/UX.
