Job Description – Cloud Lead

Role: Cloud Lead

Location: Noida, India

Type: Full-time

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct POC and prototyping of Cloud solutions
  • Define Integration Design and Security Design for the Web Services and Enterprise component development
  • Work on networking and security topics as an AWS cloud administrator
  • Work with storage management like AWS-Storage
  • Work extensively on AWS-EKS
  • Create and manage Docker images
  • Perform cloud cost analysis, estimations, and apply best practices
  • Manage Kubernetes (k8s) system services and worker nodes
  • Work with Database Administration and DBMS
  • Create documentation and design documents
  • Provide estimates for the requirements
  • Engage with the senior architecture group, collaborate with internal technology teams, and contribute to internal initiatives
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes API and client libraries (Postgres, Redis, Prometheus, etc.)
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code concepts

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience with hands-on coding and ability to program independently
  • Must have AWS Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
  • Strong Linux/UNIX experience
  • Hands-on experience in Terraform
  • Experience in AWS Cloud platforms across a wide range of services
  • Experience in implementing AWS Cloud Security
  • Experience using Postgres databases (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Load Balancing, Auto-Scaling, and Route 53 for traffic management
  • Experience with Network Access Control List, VPC peering, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail
  • Ability to design Highly Available and/or Fault-Tolerant Architectures
  • Experience with open-source technologies and tools
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying high-scale solutions in Kubernetes
  • Understanding of optimized coding for memory consumption, performance, scalability, security, caching, etc.
  • Experience with Docker, HELM, and Kubernetes (mandatory)
  • Experience working with scripting languages (YAML)
  • Experience with stateless/stateful applications deployed on Kubernetes in production environments
  • Working experience with AWS and Kubernetes API
  • Experience with reporting and analysis tools for cloud platforms
  • Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines from scratch

Good to Have:

  • Background in Java for API development

Specific Requirements:

  • Strong development skills for Kubernetes SaaS applications
  • Kubernetes deployment, networking, and persistent storage
  • Kubernetes Role-based access control (RBAC), UNIX RBAC, OpenID Connectors, RSA SSL keys, JWT, certificate management
  • Node, Pod, and Container runtime hardening
  • Knowledge of cloud design patterns for timeouts, delays, transient faults, cascading failures, and SaaS service overload
  • Experience with Load Balancing, DNS, and data caching techniques
  • Ability to instrument distributed applications for monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Manage environments using Terraform – write Terraform code to maintain environment states
