Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Pace Consultant.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' medical histories to ensure the safety of various medical imaging procedures.
  • Suggest alternative medical imaging techniques when necessary, taking into account the patient's specific needs and circumstances.
  • Provide clear and concise information about the medical imaging process to patients, ensuring they understand what to expect.
  • Operate devices such as computer tomography (CT) scanners and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines with precision and skill.
  • Perform or direct radiology staff to carry out image-guided, diagnostic procedures, working closely with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiology lab technicians to achieve optimal image quality, making adjustments and fine-tuning as required.
  • Analyze and interpret results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine accurate diagnoses, using technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, discussing results and diagnoses in detail and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Prepare written reports of results and diagnoses, summarizing key findings and recommendations for further action.
  • In emergency situations, such as resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other critical events, follow established medical protocols to ensure prompt and effective response.
