We are seeking a highly motivated Executive - Accounts Payable to join our Finance team on a full-time basis:

Position Description (A brief overview of the overall purpose of the position)

The Accounts Payable accountant is responsible for the managing the payables transactions ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements across business units/regions. This role will support process standardization, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and maintaining strong relationship with vendors and internal stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounts payable function.

Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

Accurately process vendor and Intercompany invoices in compliance with company policies and regulations. Resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and intercompany transactions Maintain accurate vendor accounts incl setup and updates incl vendor account reconciliation. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks (SOX compliance) Prepare and present AP ageing reports and payment summaries, exception reports and support continuous improvements within the Accounts payable function. Sox Compliance. Required to support the implementation of an upgraded ERP system for the Finance module

Requirements

Academic/Professional Education

B Com/BBA 

Relevant Experience  

Candidate must have a minimum of 3 to5 years' experience handling accounts payable in Finance shared services organization
