Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – QA
Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our Quality team. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing both desktop and web applications, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with the development team & Product team to create and execute test plans, identify bugs, and verify fixes, contributing to the improvement of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse system specifications and technical documents for desktop and web applications. 

• Develop and execute comprehensive manual test cases to ensure product quality and performance. 

• Identify, record, document, and track defects found in the software. 

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing across desktop and web platforms. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. 

• Participate in test planning and review sessions with the team. 

• Analyse and prioritize defects based on the product's criticality and impact on the user. 

• Communicate testing results, bug fixes, and other QA-related updates to stakeholders. 

• Maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. 

• Ensure that testing is performed in compliance with company standards and project timelines.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualificatin:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 

• Experience in writing and understanding complex SQL queries 

• Experience with Relational Databases (MSSQLServer/ Postgress) and understand the ER diagrams 

• Familiar with Datawarehouse concepts, SQL server features like roles, permissions and Linked servers 

• Able to understand and analyse the Table structures, Stored Procedures, Functions and Triggers 

• Experience in creating good Test cases by going through the user stories 

• Experience in performing application testing 

• Experience in working with SCRUM or Sprint Agile Methodology 

• Experience in using JIRA 

• Good to have Knowledge on cloud concepts

• Strong communication skills to work effectively in a team environment. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working with virtual machines or cloud-based environments. 

• Familiarity with Jira. 

• Good to have - Experience with Automation testing using tools like Selenium or Cypress
