Job DescriptionLocation: ChennaiJob Overview:We are seeking a experienced Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP EWM solutions and implementations, coupled with extensive knowledge of SAP MM/SD modules and their integration with other functional areas. Exposure to the retail industry is highly desirable.The SAP Senior Functional Consultant will be assisting in supply chain management and Enterprise Warehouse Management (EWM) initiatives for our enterprise clients. The candidate will closely work with technical leads, architects, software engineers, business analysts, in a highly collaborative environment. In this role, candidate is expected to work on gathered requirements from business, design, configuration, testing, deployment and user support for SAP application software. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in an environment where change is constant.Responsibilities:Design, configure, implement, and test large scale projects and enhancements in EWM supply chain processesParticipate in the full SDLC (Agile), including iterative development, estimations and design sessions.Deliver high quality project deliverables and assignments on time and within allocated budget.Hands on with EWM implementationsCollaborate with architects and cross-functional teams in designing and implementing integrated, enterprise solutions.Provide support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM-related issues.Work with distributed teams across various time zones.Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with business clients.Provide support for testing and post go-live support on project initiatives.Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP EWM developments and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering7+ years total experience as an engineer in SAP environment, includingMinimum 5 years of experience in SAP implementations 4+ years in EWM core implementation 4+ years of experience in SAP MM / SD Modules3.Hands-on experience in following:Inbound and Outbound design and configuration for both retail & e-commerce Distribution centers.Design of warehouse processes including technical elements warehouse structure like Storage types, warehouse process types, put away and stock removal strategies, process & lay out oriented storage control,Replenishment process, customer orders- combined picking (multi step picking)4.Strong understanding of integration points between SAP EWM and other SAP modules.5.Proven experience in developing and implementing highly scalable, high performance and stable SAP applications.6.Knowledge of Agile system development methodology and prior experience working in Agile environment.7.Strong in estimating and planning skills and the ability to clearly write technical specifications.8.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.9.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.10.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good to Have:Certification in SAP MM/SD or EWM is a plus.Prior exposure to the retail industry is highly desirable.Additional informationWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team.Professional development and growth opportunities.A dynamic and collaborative work environment.
