Job Title: SAP Senior BOBJ Consultant

Location: Bangalore-Onsite

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior BOBJ (BusinessObjects) Consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of BusinessObjects reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP BOBJ tools, data modeling, and analytics, ensuring the effective delivery of BI solutions that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, configuration, and deployment of SAP BusinessObjects solutions.
  • Design, develop, and optimize reports, dashboards, and universes using BOBJ tools such as Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, and Lumira.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
  • Ensure integration of SAP BOBJ with various data sources, including SAP BW, HANA, and other databases.
  • Provide performance tuning and optimization of BOBJ reports and universes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BOBJ applications.
  • Maintain system documentation and provide end-user training and support.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SAP BusinessObjects technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-6years of experience working with SAP BusinessObjects BI solutions.
  • Expertise in Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, Lumira, and SAP BO Universe Designer.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling, and database management systems (SAP HANA, BW, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Experience integrating SAP BOBJ with SAP BW, HANA, and non-SAP data sources.
  • Knowledge of BOBJ security setup, user administration, and access management.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing BI reports.
  • Experience in upgrading and migrating SAP BOBJ environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP BusinessObjects certification is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other BI tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or JavaScript for data visualization enhancements.
