Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead data-driven initiatives, perform advanced exploratory data analysis, and build & deploy scalable machine learning models. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, generative AI (GenAI), and machine learning deployment frameworks, with a good understanding of the life sciences domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in leading
  • design and development of advanced ML and Generative AI models.
  • Drive end-to-end data science projects from data preparation to deployment.
  • Apply LLMs, transformers, and other GenAI techniques to business problems.
  • Guide and mentor junior data scientists in technical delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into AI solutions.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of deployed models.
  • Stay current with GenAI advancements and evaluate adoption for the organization.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
  • Deep expertise in NLP, LLM fine-tuning, transformers, and GenAI frameworks.
  • Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, feature engineering, and large-scale data handling.
  • Experience with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and orchestration tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
