Production / Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production and Quality Executive to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing production processes, specifically within the beverage industry. This role involves ensuring efficient plant operations, maintaining product quality, and managing production teams to meet company goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production processes to ensure seamless operations and address quality issues in collaboration with the production team at the manufacturing unit.
- Production planning: Take care of production goals and provide regular updates. Maintain Excel sheets to track production progress.
- Quality control processes: Conduct audits to refine and enhance production and inventory processes.
- Test materials before dispatch and ensure all necessary documents are attached to products.
- Manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize wastage, and ensure timely product availability. Manage inventory using Zoho Inventory, ensuring accurate updates and overseeing the entire product cycle.
- Develop and implement QC procedures aligned with regulatory mandates and customer expectations.
- Maintain detailed records of all QC activities for transparency and accountability. Monitor and report on production and quality performance and metrics.
- Lead and guide the QC team of manufacturers, ensuring adherence to protocols and fostering continuous improvement. Provide training and support on production and quality practices.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers and co-packers, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Product Development: Develop and formulate new food products from concept to launch, ensuring they meet company standards and market demands.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to enhance QC practices.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven 2-year experience as a Production Manager in the beverage industry, with a focus on soft drinks or energy drinks
- Experience of R&D with development of new product formulations
- Proven expertise as a food technologist with a strong understanding of food chemistry, formulation, and sensory evaluation, especially in the beverage industry, with focus on soft drinks
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and quality control in the beverage sector, with a focus on soft drinks or energy drinks
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and implement process improvements.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Experience in sales, ideally in FMCG/beverage Manage General Trade, Distributor Sales, Primary & Secondary Sales Serve as the point of contact for existing and potential customers within your assigned territory Identify local business opportunities and address challenges Present our products and services to prospective customers Work closely with sales teams to achieve individual and group sales targets Provide product solutions based on customer needs and cross-sell when appropriate Proficient in sales tracking/reporting tools Self-driven with a strong commitment to targets
