Job Position : PIPELINE DESIGNER Location : Mumbai Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare pipeline route layouts, alignment sheets, pipeline profiles, and overall plot plans.Develop 3D models for offshore pipelines, tie-ins, field layouts, and subsea structures.Generate detailed engineering drawings including Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, isometrics, and support details.Coordinate with pipeline engineers to incorporate stress analysis, wall thickness, and material specifications into design.Prepare pipeline crossing drawings, trenching/backfilling drawings, and installation engineering support deliverables.Ensure compliance with international offshore pipeline standards (DNV, API, ISO).Review vendor drawings and interface with multidisciplinary teams (Structural, Mechanical, Subsea, Process).Support offshore installation planning, including spool drawings, as-built updates, and revision control.Perform design checks, clash checks, and ensure model completeness and accuracy.Maintain document control and follow project drafting/design procedures.Mandatory Skills & ExperienceMinimum 10+ years of design experience in Offshore Rigid Pipeline projects.Proficiency in 3D modeling tools: AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS/E3D, or equivalent.Strong knowledge of DNV-ST-F101, API, and offshore pipeline design codes.Experience preparing offshore pipeline deliverables from concept to detailed engineering.Ability to interpret engineering documents, P&IDs, specifications, and installation procedures.
