Assistant Graphic Designer

SSC is seeking a talented and experienced Video and Graphic Designer to join our creative team. Proficiency in Canva and video editing is essential for this role, as the ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually engaging content that aligns with our brand and client needs. With at least three years of experience, the candidate should have a strong background in graphic design and video production, expertise in tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, and a passion for producing high-quality visuals. This role involves collaborating with the marketing team to design visuals that resonate with our clients' audiences across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Visual Content:

• Develop visually appealing designs for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
• Design marketing collateral such as brochures, newsletters, and presentations that align with client branding.
• Utilize tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to produce high-quality graphics.

Video Production & Editing:

• Create and edit videos for promotional campaigns, branding, and social media.
• Use video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to produce engaging and professional-quality videos.
• Collaborate with the team to conceptualize video scripts and storyboards.

Branding & Identity:

• Ensure consistency in branding across all visual materials.
• Design and update brand identity elements, including logos and style guides.

Collaboration & Campaign Development:

• Work closely with the marketing and content teams to develop innovative campaign ideas.
• Support internal and client-facing projects with creative solutions.

Digital & Print Collateral:

• Design print materials such as posters, flyers, and event banners.
• Create digital assets optimized for web and social media platforms.

What We Are Looking For

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design and video production.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic and video design projects.
• Experience with tools like Canva and other video editing software.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to create visually appealing videos and graphics that align with brand guidelines.
