Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP BODS Consultant with 8+ years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS). The ideal candidate should have expertise in ETL processes, data migration, data warehousing, and integration across SAP and non-SAP systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience in BODS development, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using SAP BODS.

- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources to SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Work on data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.

- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into BODS solutions.

- Optimize ETL workflows and enhance performance tuning of BODS jobs.

- Implement error handling, data validation, and reconciliation mechanisms.

- Support and troubleshoot BODS job failures, performance issues, and system errors.

- Ensure compliance with best practices, data governance, and security standards.

- Document technical designs, workflows, and processes.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) development and support.

- Strong expertise in ETL, data migration, data modeling, and data integration.

- Experience working with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, HANA, and other databases.

- Hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimization of BODS jobs.

- Good understanding of SQL, stored procedures, and scripting for data transformation.

- Knowledge of IDOCs, BAPI, RFC, Web Services, and API-based integrations.

- Experience in data quality, cleansing, and profiling tools.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP Information Steward and SAP Data Intelligence.

- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
