This is a full-time onsite role (5-day working) focused on building scalable APIs and enterprise-grade backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. You’ll work in an agile Scrum environment and leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and code quality.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPAIntegrate with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Implement Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT for secure API accessConduct unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Spring TestUse AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, SonarQube) for code generation, review, and testingParticipate in Scrum ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developersMaintain clean documentation and contribute to code reviewsMust-Have Qualifications3–5 years of professional experience in Java backend developmentStrong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIsFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, SonarQube)Experience working in Agile/Scrum teamsStable work history: ≤2 company switches, with ≥3 years at one firmBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fieldStrong communication skills and understanding of the Indian IT ecosystemNice-to-Have SkillsExposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)Experience with Docker, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, Kafka, RabbitMQContributions to open-source Java projects or public portfoliosAgile/Scrum certifications or advanced Java/Spring credentialsCompensation & BenefitsOnsite working: Monday to FridayOpportunities for growth in AI, DevOps, and Cloud engineeringCollaborative team culture with mentorship and long-term career pathsWork LocationThis is a fully onsite role based in Bengaluru South, close to major IT parks and tech campuses.
