Position: Project Engineer (Marine/Mechanical) Number Of Openings: 30 Job Location : Navi Mumbai, Chennai Job Objective: The Project Engineer will be working as part of the PMS data building team responsible to screen the PMS data, extract the relevant jobs and job details in order prepare the equipment and PMS job structure for the vessels being built by the team. Job Responsibilities: Screen and extract job, job descriptions and the relevant job details from maker manuals, ISM, SMS, CMS yard supplied manuals, or any other source provided by the client Draft the job descriptions in a clear, structured and technically accurate manner Identify and record the job attachments required to be extracted from the provided manuals in order to be attached as part of the job procedures Extract machinery particulars out of the maker/ yard manuals Prepare the Equipment Structure/hierarchy Prepare Machinery-locations/Components-sets installed as provided in makers manuals or vessel plans Merging and processing the various data sources into one coherent PMS file. Data sources can include Class instructions, Manuals and various procedures agreed with Client (SMS jobs, Alarm jobs) Monitor and guide teammates to achieve their target on time and data with high accuracy and quality Planning, assigning and reporting all tasks on the task management system Ensure tasks and projects are completed as per the required schedule Qualifications and Skills Minimum 1 year experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer in any small-scale manufacturing industry Hands-on experience in maintenance and repair of utility systems including Diesel Generator Engine Sets, Refrigeration plants, Boilers, Air Compressors, Pumps etc. is preferrable. Sailing background as (TME, 4th Engineer) is preferred PMS knowledge or relevant experience will be considered as an advantage knowledge on MS-Excel (Intermediate-level)(Usage of V Lookup and Pivot Table) Fluency in written and spoken English Excellent typing skills Experience in maintaining inventory of items in any industrial ERP application will be considered as an advantage Experience in reporting of planned maintenance/breakdown maintenance activity in any industrial ERP application. CTC - 2.7 to 3 LPA Note : This job role is only for those marine engineer candidates who are looking for permanent shore job. There will be background verification for shortlisted candidates. : Mechanical candidates with 1 year experience are equally eligible for this role but they should have knowledge on maintenance and repair of utility systems including Diesel Generator Engine Sets, Refrigeration plants, Boilers, Air Compressors, Pumps etc. : Chennai based candidates need to visit our Navi Mumbai office for 1 month of training.
