Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of test strategies, plans, and test cases for software projects.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze test results, and log/report defects effectively.
  • Stay updated on and contribute to the adoption of industry best practices in software testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Appium.
  • Participate in defect triage and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
  • Assist in post-release testing to ensure product quality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay current with trends, tools, and emerging practices in software testing.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Strong experience in test strategy development , test planning , and test case design .
  • Extensive hands-on experience with manual testing , automated testing (using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, or others ).
  • Proficiency with issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA ).
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills , with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Solid understanding of database concepts and experience working with databases (e.g., SQL ).
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with test management tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests within them is a plus.
