Job Description :

We are looking for an Appian Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Appian development and a strong foundation in software engineering principles. This role will involve developing and customizing business applications using the Appian platform and integrating them with various data sources and systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Appian Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy applications using the Appian platform.

- Build and maintain model-driven processes, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

- Develop user interfaces and business rules in Appian to automate business workflows and data management.

Technical Skills :

- Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into Appian solutions.

- Customize and optimize the Appian environment to meet specific business needs.

- Integrate Appian applications with other systems and databases using SQL, REST APIs, and other protocols.

Business Analysis & Architecture :

- Understand and analyze business requirements to design and develop solutions using Appian's model-driven architecture.

- Create process models, user interfaces, decision tables, and integrate with external systems.

Agile Development :

- Work in Agile teams to deliver incremental features and maintain solutions in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the application delivery process using tools like Azure DevOps (AzDo) or similar.

SharePoint & Integration :

- Knowledge of SharePoint Online integration with Appian applications for document management or collaborative workflows.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated on the latest Appian features and innovations to integrate new functionalities or optimize existing solutions.

- Troubleshoot issues in production systems and provide support for existing applications.

Key Skills and Requirements :

- Minimum 5+ years of overall software development experience.

- 3+ years of hands-on development experience using the Appian platform, including creating applications and integrating systems.

- Proficiency in front-end technologies : HTML, CSS, JSON, and JavaScript for building dynamic and interactive user interfaces.

- Experience with SQL : Proficient in writing SQL queries, working with SQL Server or other RDBMS for data handling and integration.

- Business Analysis : Strong ability to understand and implement model-driven development and business process automation.

- Agile Development : Experience in working in Agile teams using tools like Azure DevOps (AzDo) or other similar tools.

- Knowledge of SharePoint Online : Familiarity with integration and usage of SharePoint for document management and team collaboration is a plus.

- Attention to Detail : Ability to focus on precision, ensuring that requirements are accurately converted into system specifications.

- Innovative Mindset : Demonstrated ability to integrate new technologies to solve complex problems and fill capability gaps in business systems.

Education and Experience : :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Appian Certification is mandatory to be considered for this role (Appian Certified Developer, Appian Certified Architect, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Appian Cloud.

- Experience with Appian's integration capabilities such as Web Services, REST APIs, and other integration tools.

- Understanding of enterprise architecture principles and how to apply them to Appian applications
