About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to join our Investment Banking Team as MD / Director – Investment Banking & Head of Technology Sector Coverage . This leadership role will focus on the coverage of Technology sector and drive strategic origination and execution of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions , with an emphasis on IPOs, QIPs follow on offering etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coverage across Technology sector including IT Services, Technology, SAAS, Telecom and allied sub-sectors.
- Originate and execute ECM transactions including IPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, and other capital market activities.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with corporates, financial investors, sovereign funds, and government bodies .
- Manage end-to-end execution of complex transactions such as restructuring, corporate strategy, fund-raising, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to expand mandates in PE, M&A, and Structured Finance within the four sectors.
- Develop and implement strategies to position Systematix as a trusted client partner and lifecycle banker .
- Mentor and guide junior team members to build talent depth and team capability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal governance during all transactions.
Qualifications
- MBA (Finance), CA, or relevant postgraduate degree from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 10 years of Investment Banking experience , with a strong focus on ECM and Technology sectors .
- Demonstrated success in leading ECM transactions and a deep understanding of Indian capital markets.
- Extensive industry network with proven stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication abilities .
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Equity Capital Markets (ECM) .
- Proven track record in IPO, deal origination, and execution .
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing complex, large-scale transactions .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
