Senior Clinical Data Management Specialist

Job Title: Senior Specialist ">Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Specialist to lead the delivery of project operations in a given business sub-capability. You will collaborate with stakeholders and strategic partners for demand analysis, solution proposal/evaluation, and project delivery. ">Main Responsibilities: Develop technology delivery strategy for business systems, platforms, and processes within a particular Business domain / Function. Ensure end-to-end accountability for technology product delivery across business areas. Partner with business product owners to set technology roadmaps, ensuring technology products generate business value for defined customers. Collaborate with Product Directors for demand analysis, solution proposal/evaluation, and funding estimates for operations/projects. Partner with business partners to ensure Technology Service/Solutions Delivery teams deliver products according to strategy with reuse across other areas. Ensure services, solutions, platforms, products are fit for purpose and achieve desired business value and impact. Implement efficient DevOps for platforms, products, or systems to ensure availability and optimal performance for responsible function/service area. Establish governance structures for projects, operations, etc., with right stakeholder representation, including underpinning IT services in delivery & support of the IT application and adherence to Security, Compliance policies & procedures. Track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and measurements for various stakeholders for function/service areas while ensuring overall user experience is considered when designing deploying new solutions/services and steady-state operations. Contribute to transformation initiatives using the latest technology stack and follow industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness. Manage application lifecycle management, application data consistency, portfolio optimization, and continual improvements. Execute problem management and drive identification of root causes as well as sufficient prevention of recurrences. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need: ">Educational Background: University Degree and/or relevant experience and professional qualifications. Technical Skills: Good understanding and track record delivering technology products (e.g., working in Clinical Data Management Systems – preferably Oracle LSH). Working experience & knowledge of Clinical business process (including GxP) within Pharma industry. IT Technical Strategy and Planning, Emerging Technology Monitoring, Vendor Management, good understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Own end-to-end delivery of Clinical Data Management (CDM) solutions across domains including Data Management, Integration, Engineering; ensure alignment with regulatory and enterprise standards. Lead project ideation, charter creation, planning, and execution for CDM functional initiatives. Working experience on Oracle LSH, along with deep expertise on PLSQL. Hands-on experience with: Oracle/SQL Server, ETL tools, Reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), R/Python for Data Transformations, Analysis, and Automation. Clinical Data Management Expertise: Working experience & knowledge of Clinical Data Management business process areas. Integration with various Clinical systems in EDC, CTMS, CDMS, SCE domain, and solutions that support Clinical Data Operations within Global Clinical Operations. Experience in adoption and development of Agile methodologies. Drive/contribute on digital transformation efforts, especially cloud migration and SaaS integration strategies. Application Support & Operations: Oversee application support, incident management, and operational excellence for Clinical Data Management systems. Adhere & Enhance governance and DevOps practices to ensure system reliability and performance. Ensure scalability, performance, and compliance of Clinical Data Management portfolio applications. Soft Skills: Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team within a matrix environment building relationships, driving engagement. Previous experience and strong mindset in continuous improvement and change management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work independently and reliably. Proficiency in English (written and oral).
