Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Psychologist to join our team of mental health professionals. This role involves providing therapy sessions, assessments, and support to clients through our innovative platform that integrates AI technology and virtual reality tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Therapy Sessions: Conduct individual or group therapy sessions via video conferencing or in-person, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, or psychodynamic therapy.

  • Initial Assessments: Perform comprehensive initial assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Collaborate with AI systems for enhanced assessment feedback.

  • AI-Assisted Therapy: Work alongside AI companions designed to provide continuous support between sessions. Utilize AR/VR environments for immersive therapy experiences tailored to client preferences (e.g., exposure therapy).

  • Client Matching & Support: Participate in the therapist matching process based on client preferences such as gender, language, geography, etc. Provide guidance on homework assignments and track progress using digital tools.

  • Crisis Intervention: Offer 24/7 crisis support services for urgent situations. Develop strategies with clients to manage anxiety attacks using calming VR environments or AR grounding exercises.

  • Professional Development & Collaboration: Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and seminars focused on emerging technologies like AR/VR in mental health care. Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare professionals (nutritionists, fitness coaches) to ensure holistic care.



RequirementsQualifications

  • Education & Licensure:MPhil or Ph.D./Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution; licensed as a psychologist in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience providing psychotherapy services.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Familiarity with digital platforms for remote therapy sessions.

    • Willingness to learn new technologies such as AR/VR tools.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse clients.

    • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies while maintaining high-quality therapeutic practices.

Note : This is an unpaid role for first 2 months. Competitive salary after fundraising.
