Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that investments are done as per the investment objective of the scheme and SEBI regulations

  • Execute and manage trades as required for the underlying scheme

  • Tracking portfolio on daily basis and take corrective action and manage subscriptions and redemption while ensuring minimal tracking error

  • Liaising with Market participants like Brokers/Authorized participants to ensure best execution

  • Ensuring communication with the internal stakeholders for further processing and clearance of trades

  • Regular reporting to management and tracking of peer performance

  • Research & Analysis on new debt products including liaisoning with benchmark providers


Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in the debt markets

  • Have technical proficiency and experience in managing debt investments

  • On-hands experience in Debt dealing and familiarity with TREPS, NDS-OM, RFQ, Bloomberg / Reuters

  • Well connected within Debt market participants like MF, PDs, Bank Treasuries, etc would be desirable

  • Should have understanding of debt valuation, interest curves, sensitivity analysis in debt

  • Understanding of Index Fund / ETF related processes would be added benefit

  • Should understand end-end process flow of investment to settlement

  • Should have a quantitative bent of mind and understanding of Macroeconomics

  • Have strong Excel and data analysis skills. Will have to undertake portfolio modeling and simulation as part of product development and risk management


Educational Qualification

CFA Charter Holder / CA / MBA / CFA (Level 2/3) in conjunction with CA or MBA
