We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Manager - Work Order Finalisation to join our team, to be based at Faridabad in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and completing all work order closure processes for solar EPC projects. This includes verifying construction scope, validating site execution data, coordinating with internal teams and contractors, and ensuring accurate documentation and financial closure. The role ensures that all work orders reflect actual site conditions, executed work quantities, and approved variations, enabling timely billing, vendor payments, and project closeout.Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Work Order Finalisation & VerificationReview and finalise Work Orders (WO) for civil, mechanical, electrical, module mounting structures, and associated solar construction activities.Validate scope of work, BOQs, item rates, and variation orders against project agreements.Ensure all executed quantities at site are accurately recorded and reflected in the final work order.Verify contractor claims with actual site measurements, drawings, as-built documents, and DPRs.2. Site Coordination & Technical ValidationCollaborate with site engineers, construction managers, and QA/QC teams to verify work completion and reconcile quantity mismatches.Perform site visits to understand construction progress, validate measurements, and close open items.Resolve technical discrepancies between drawings, field execution, and contractor submissions.3. Documentation & ComplianceEnsure all required documentation (MBs, site measurements, material consumption reports, red-line drawings, QA checklists, test reports) is complete and compliant before WO finalisation.Maintain accurate and audit-ready records for each work package.Coordinate with procurement and contracts teams to align WO data with POs, cost approvals, and contractual terms.4. Cost Control & Financial ClosureWork with Project Controls/Finance to reconcile budgets vs. actuals for each work order.Validate contractor invoices based on finalised quantities and approved variations.Ensure timely closure of work orders to support project billing and vendor payments.Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Electrical Engineering or related field.5–10 years of experience in EPC project execution, contracting, or project controls.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in work order finalisation or contract administration (preferably in solar or power sector).
