Role Overview

We're looking for a part-time fashion designer to bring SABI's next collection to life. This role is perfect for a creative, detail-oriented designer who's excited to work hands-on—from sketching garments to overseeing samples and sourcing materials.

Fresh graduates are welcome —we value passion, taste, and originality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design original garments in line with the SABI aesthetic
  • Collaborate with our tailor and patternmaker to bring concepts to life
  • Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims, and materials from Mumbai markets
  • Help oversee fittings and ensure quality craftsmanship
  • Contribute to moodboards, drops, and storytelling around each piece
  • Work closely with the founder and production team
Requirements
  • A background in Fashion Design (degree/diploma preferred)
  • Strong design sensibility and understanding of silhouettes and fabric behavior
  • Comfort working with Indian textiles and embroidery (a plus, not a must)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven
  • Excellent communication and collaborative mindset
  • Based in Mumbai
