StartupNow is a global initiative dedicated to empowering founders by connecting them with experienced mentors across industries. We believe every founder needs a mentor to transform vision into reality. With chapters kickstarting in India and UAE, and expansion plans for Europe and the USA, we are building a movement to strengthen the global startup ecosystem.


Role Overview


We are inviting seasoned experts to join as Startup Mentors for our India Chapter. This is a non-commercial, voluntary role, designed for leaders, innovators, and researchers who want to give back to the ecosystem by guiding the next generation of founders.


Mentors will support early-stage founders across domains — from Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to Manufacturing, Defence, Biotechnology, and beyond.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide structured mentorship to early-stage startups through 1:1 and group sessions.
  • Share domain expertise, best practices, and real-world insights to accelerate founder journeys.
  • Guide on product strategy, fundraising, scaling, and global market expansion.
  • Bridge the gap between research, industry, and entrepreneurship.
  • Collaborate with other global mentors to strengthen the StartupNow community.


Who Should Apply

  • Senior professionals, researchers, or entrepreneurs with proven expertise in their field.
  • PhD holders, founders, or senior leaders who have built or scaled ventures (preferred for deep-tech domains like AI, BioTech, Defence).
  • Industry experts and academics passionate about mentoring.
