Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)6-month contract (extendable)Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to join the B2C design team and drive high-impact product experiences across key charters in the consumer food space. In this role, you’ll take ownership of entire design tracks, mentor junior designers, and raise the bar for craft, execution, and design thinking across the board.You’ll work on fast-moving, user-facing B2C features that impact millions of customers—from emotional experiences to high-conversion journeys. This role involves deep collaboration with cross-functional teams to turn insights into frameworks, frameworks into prototypes, and prototypes into polished, scalable solutions.You’ll be expected to think beyond UI — leading with empathy, applying structured problem-solving, and delivering clarity in ambiguous problem spaces. The ability to influence product direction, guide peers, and work seamlessly with senior stakeholders is essential.This is a contract-based opportunity with strong potential for long-term conversion based on performance and team fit. You'll work closely with product, research, engineering, and data teams to build thoughtful, delightful user experiences in one of the most dynamic consumer categories.Daily ResponsibilitiesLead design efforts across multiple product charters end-to-endTranslate user insights and data into design frameworks and scalable solutionsSet high standards for craft, visual finesse, and execution consistencyMentor and guide junior designers in design thinking and research applicationCollaborate with senior stakeholders and adapt to changing scopes with easeLeverage prototyping, AI-based tools, and system thinking to elevate UXChampion emotional design and design language system (DLS) reusabilityWhat We’re Looking For2-5 years of experience in B2C product design, preferably in consumer tech or e-commerceStrong portfolio with clear end-to-end ownership — from problem framing to polished executionAdvanced proficiency in Figma and component-based design; experience with DLS, auto-layouts, and prototypingStrong visual design and UX thinking, with attention to craft, spacing, accessibility, and emotional designAbility to lead tracks independently, influence cross-functional teams, and guide junior designersComfort working in fast-paced, high-growth product environmentsKey QualificationsB2C experience in product-led tech companiesHands-on experience in building scalable design systemsProficient in frameworks for rapid prototyping and user testingStrong communicator who can align design vision with product and business strategyPast experience collaborating with senior stakeholders, PMs, engineers, and analyticsBonus: exposure to AI tools, consumer experimentation platforms, or personalization systemsAdditional Skills (Good to Have)Comfortable with tools like Notion, Miro, or Airtable for planning and documentationAwareness of frontend fundamentals (HTML/CSS/React) for smoother handoffsFamiliarity with mobile-first and responsive designsInclusive design knowledge and accessibility (WCAG) best practicesStrong presentation and visual storytelling capabilitiesPotential BenefitsWellness wallet, mental health support, and medical coveragePaid parental leave, flexible PTO, and sabbatical optionsAnnual learning budgets and course reimbursements
