Lead Piping and Utility Systems Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sr. Engineer in the Mechanical Department. The ideal candidate must be a Mechanical Engineer with good understanding in Designing of piping and utility. Also, the candidate must have good grasping skills and should be comfortable working as a team.ResponsibilitiesConduction of client meetings to gather project-related inputs and to understand the detailed scope of the project.Preparation of Utility Design Basis Reports.Utility estimation and calculations.Preparation and review of utility P&ID,Line sizingPipe routingPump head calculationUtility equipment selectionTechnical specification preparationCoordination with internal departments to ensure the utility requirements are communicated and accounted for.Close coordination with draftsmen to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.Preparation of Mechanical BOQ and Tender related documents.Vendor drawing approvalReleasing GFC drawing by coordinating with other servicesPreparation of technical and commercial comparison of bids submitted by vendors against the floated Tender Documents.QualificationsBE – Mechanical / Chemical EngineerExperience8-10 Years of experience in Mechanical & Piping DesignPrevious experience in Pharmaceutical Engineering Design Consultancy is preferred.Job LocationThane
