About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Architect to join our team.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative cloud-based solutions leveraging the Microsoft Azure platform.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to translate business requirements into robust and scalable cloud architectures.

Responsibilities :

- Create comprehensive Azure cloud platform architecture documents outlining the vision for how Azure infrastructure and platform services will support the overall application architecture.

- Collaborate with application architects and DevOps teams to modernize applications from IaaS to PaaS.

- Design and implement solutions that support a DevOps approach for the delivery and operations of Azure cloud services.

- Serve as the go-to person for Azure Cloud Architecture, providing guidance and support on all aspects of cloud adoption.

- Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to strict security and compliance standards, including data sovereignty requirements.

- Plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

- Interact with business stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.

- Create and conduct proof-of-concept demonstrations to validate the feasibility of proposed solutions.

- Develop and advocate for enterprise-level conceptual solutions and gain consensus and approval for global applications.

- Identify and implement opportunities for system integration across different platforms and technologies.

- Identify, implement, and promote best practices, tools, and standards for Azure cloud architecture and deployment.

- Provide consultative support to the DevOps team for production incidents and troubleshooting.

- Drive and support initiatives to improve system reliability, availability, scalability, and performance.

- Possess in-depth hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS and SaaS services, including :

1. Compute : Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage, Load Balancing, Networking

2. App Services : App Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Container Services (AKS)

3. Data & Analytics : Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Power BI

4. IoT : IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Stream Analytics, Time Series Insights

- Expertise in provisioning cloud services using various methods, including the Azure portal, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.

- Hands-on experience with configuring and managing network infrastructure, including ExpressRoute, VPN, NSGs, firewalls, IP addresses, WAF, and security groups.

- Hands-on experience with implementing and integrating cloud-based identity solutions such as Azure Active Directory, ADFS, and LDAP.

- Understanding of hybrid cloud solutions and experience integrating public cloud with traditional hosting/delivery models.

- Knowledge of development languages and technologies, including Node.js, Java, .NET, Python, and experience with REST APIs and microservices.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

- Proven experience with designing and implementing complex enterprise-level cloud architectures.

- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and serverless computing.

- Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft Azure Certifications (e.g, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence solutions

- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
