Role Overview :
As a QA Engineer at Es Magico, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. With a strong foundation in both manual and automation testing, you'll work alongside developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create, execute, and maintain test strategies. Your work will be crucial to ensuring our products are reliable, efficient, and user-centric.
Key Responsibilities :
1) Test Planning & Execution
Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for comprehensive testing coverage.
Conduct thorough manual testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, covering functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
2) Automation Testing
Develop and implement automated test scripts for regression, smoke, and functional testing using tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
Set up, optimize, and manage test automation frameworks and integrate automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline.
Continuously monitor, analyze, and improve automated test results for speed and accuracy.
3) Defect Tracking & Resolution
Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with developers for quick resolution.
Participate in root cause analysis for high-impact issues and suggest preventive measures.
4) Collaboration & Quality Assurance
Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed quality at every stage of the development process.
Engage in design and requirement reviews to contribute insights on testability, usability, and quality improvements.
Communicate test progress, results, and quality metrics to stakeholders effectively.
Requirements :
1) Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2) Experience : 2+ years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.
3) Technical Skills :
Proficient in automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for developing automated test cases.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems like Git .
4) Manual Testing Skills :
Solid understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Ability to write detailed, accurate test cases and record test results clearly.
5) Soft Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured .
Familiarity with agile testing methodologies such as TDD/BDD.
