Title: Product Sales Specialist- IPP/HWALocation: Mumbai, India Business Unit: HCLSoftware – Digital Solutions Role Type: Full-Time | Individual Contributor Reports To: Associate Vice President (HCL Automation Orchestration, DevOps and Mainframe Sales Head)About the Role:We are seeking a Product Sales Specialist (PSS) to drive sales and adoption of HCLSoftware’s Workload Automation (HWA) and Intelligent Information Platform (IIP) offerings in the India region. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role responsible for hunting, qualifying, and closing opportunities, while evangelizing the value of HCLSoftware’s automation and data integration solutions across enterprise accounts. You will work closely with pre-sales, product management, marketing, and customer success teams to develop and execute regional sales strategies.Key Responsibilities:Own and exceed sales targets for HWA and IIP products in the assigned territory.Drive new business development by identifying and qualifying prospective clients through industry research, events, and partner collaboration.Engage directly with CIOs, IT Operations, DevOps, and digital transformation leaders to understand their needs and map them to HCLSoftware’s offerings.Articulate the business value of automation and data orchestration, positioning HWA/IIP as strategic platforms for efficiency, compliance, and scale.Collaborate with pre-sales teams to deliver compelling demos, solution workshops, and POCs.Work with channel partners and system integrators to build joint GTM plans and scale reach.Maintain a healthy pipeline, track opportunities in CRM, and ensure timely forecasting and reporting.Represent HCLSoftware at industry forums, conferences, and partner events to build visibility and thought leadership.Required Experience & Skills:Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably in IT automation, cloud, DevOps, or data integration domains.Proven success in hunting and closing enterprise deals, especially in BFSI, telecom, manufacturing, or public sector.Familiarity with workload/job schedulers (e.g., Control-M, AutoSys, TWS, Jenkins, Kubernetes) or data integration tools is a strong plus.Strong network of IT decision-makers across India.Familiarity with agentic AI and Business process orchestrationExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.High energy, self-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience selling SaaS, hybrid cloud, or automation platforms.Understanding of compliance-driven industries (banking, insurance, etc.).Knowledge of channel ecosystems in India.Travel Requirement:Willingness to travel up to 30–40% within India for client and partner engagements.
