About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP RAP Consultant to join our team on a contract/freelance basis. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) with a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing RAP-based solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement applications using SAP ABAP RAP framework.
• Build OData services using RAP and ensure seamless integration with SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Develop CDS views, BOPF objects, and annotations in the RAP environment.
• Optimize RAP applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting, and support for RAP-related issues.
• Contribute to code reviews, quality assurance, and best practices adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
• Proficiency in CDS views, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 integration.
• Good understanding of S/4HANA ABAP programming and performance optimization.
• Experience in RAP transactional scenarios (create, update, delete operations).
• Knowledge of ABAP OO concepts and modern ABAP syntax.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a freelance/contract setup.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
• Experience in SAP Cloud Platform or other SAP extensions.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
