Job descriptionGoogle Cloud Platform DevOps EngineerParadigmIT is seeking a seasoned GCP DevOps Engineer to design implement and manage scalable secure and resilient infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform GCP. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in DevOps, CI/CD Infrastructure as Code IaC container orchestration and cloud security.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructures using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery and Cloud StorageDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or Cloud BuildAutomate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform Google Cloud Deployment Manager or similar IaC toolsDesign and deploy AI/ML pipelines leveraging Google AI Services, including model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring with platforms like Vertex AI.Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes GKEMonitor system performance and ensure high availability using tools like Prometheus Grafana and Google Cloud ObservabilityImplement and enforce cloud security best practices including IAM encryption and secure codingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deployments and troubleshoot issuesOptimize cloud costs and resource utilizationDocument infrastructure deployment processes and operational procedures Required Skills QualificationsMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience with GCP including compute, storage, networking, database, security, and AI servicesSkilled in Python, Go, or Bash; proficient in containerization (Kubernetes, Docker); adept in monitoring andtroubleshooting across stack.Strong knowledge in cloud architecture is a big plusExperience architecting and deploying AI/ML solutions; deep understanding of the AI lifecycle, tools, and Google AI service offerings.Strong understanding of cloud networking security and DevOps methodologiesExperience with monitoring and logging tools Google Cloud Observability Prometheus GrafanaFamiliarity with version control systems like GitStrong leadership, communication, problem solving with a proactive and collaborative approach to continuous learningPreferred CertificationsGoogle Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps EngineerGoogle Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
