Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development, formulation, and optimization of construction coatings such as:Waterproofing coatings (acrylic, PU, epoxy, hybrid systems)Protective and decorative coatings (cementitious, elastomeric, primers, sealers)Floor coatings and industrial protective coatingsEvaluate and select raw materials (polymers, additives, pigments, fillers) for performance, cost-effectiveness, and sustainabilityConduct application trials, performance testing, and benchmarking against market standardsTroubleshoot coating performance issues during formulation scale-up and application at customer sitesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QC, Marketing, Sales) for product scale-up and commercializationSupport customers with on-site trials, technical presentations, and application guidanceKeep abreast of latest market trends, standards, and regulatory requirements related to construction coatingsPrepare technical documentation, test reports, and contribute to patent/IP generation when applicableShould get insight from market/Field interaction and create product pipelineSkills:Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry and coating formulation principles.Hands-on experience in waterborne and solvent-based construction coatings.Familiarity with application methods (roller, spray, brush, trowel, etc.) and performance tests (adhesion, abrasion, water permeability, UV resistance, chemical resistance).Experience in ASTM, ISO, BIS standards for construction coatings.Ability to troubleshoot coating failures and provide customer-centric solutions.Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
