 responsibilities:

  1. examine and sort diamonds based on size, shape, quality, and other key characteristics.
  2. be able to use magnification tools like loupes and microscopes to identify inclusions, blemishes and other imperfections.
  3. accurately classify diamonds according to industry standards and internal grading standards.
  4. maintain comprehensive records of sorted diamonds including grading details and inventory logs.
  5. verify that sorted stones meet quality specifications and report any anomalies or inconsistencies.
  6. ensure safe handling and secure storage of diamonds, strictly following company security protocols.
  7. collaborate with gemologists, quality control teams, and production staff to ensure consistency and accuracy in sorting and grading processes.
requirements:
  1. prior experience of atleast 3 years in diamond sorting or grading.
  2. a diploma or certification in gemology is an added advantage.
  3. excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in using loupe/magnification tools.
  4. good understanding of diamond grading standards and industry benchmarks.
  5. good vision and manual dexterity to handle small stones with precision.
  6. effective verbal communication skills for reporting and collaborating with other departments.
  7. a bility to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  8. honest,hardworking,responsible and respects time.
  9. proficiency in microsoft office and google workspace
