Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and versatile DevOps Engineer with strong development skills (or a Developer with a passion for DevOps) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our existing infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and creating scalable templates for new deployments. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless delivery and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain existing infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Create reusable templates and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for new deployments (e.g., using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools).
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution of incidents.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Software Developer with a strong interest in DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby, Go, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps (e.g., DevSecOps).
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer).
