(Key Activities)

a. Lead regular interactions with different Government Officials like District Collectors, Municipal Commissioners, Industrial Development officials, and key MLAs/MPs to ensure favourable policy environment for operations.

b. Monitor and ensure adherence to environmental clearances, labor law compliance, land use permissions, and industrial licensing requirements specific to Andhra Pradesh.

c. Develop and execute crisis communication protocols; serve as primary media spokesperson during sensitive situations; maintain relationships with key regional media personnel.

d. Track policy developments affecting the steel/manufacturing sector; prepare position papers and advocacy strategies; represent company interests in industry associations and government consultations.

e. Lead land acquisition processes, liaison with revenue officials, and coordinate with legal teams on property-related matters and dispute resolution.

f. Brief senior leadership on political developments; coordinate with various departments (HR, Legal, Operations) to align corporate affairs strategies with business objectives.

1. The candidate should be expert in engaging with government and industry leaders to influence policy and advance business goals.

2. The candidate should have proven ability to handle media during crises and proactively mitigate risks.

3. The candidate should have deep knowledge of land procurement, labour standards, and the socio-political landscape of Vijayawada / Andhra Pradesh.

4. The candidate should be capable of developing and executing data-driven public affairs strategies.

5. The candidate should be skilled in leading a team and influencing stakeholders within a complex, matrix organization.
