Role: WordPress Developer

Experience: 2-3 years

Location: Kochi, Infopark (Hybrid work options available)

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. You should be proficient in WordPress themes, plugins, and coding best practices. If you have a passion for web development and delivering high-quality websites, we'd love to hear from you.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
  • Customize themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Optimize website performance and ensure mobile friendliness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
  • Collaborate with designers and content creators to enhance user experience.
  • Ensure security best practices are applied to WordPress sites.
  • Integrate third-party tools and APIs as needed.
  • Monitor the servers and websites including backups and regularly update WordPress core, themes, plugins, and PHP to ensure the site is running the latest, most secure, and stable versions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with theme and plugin development/customization.
  • Familiarity with Elementor, or other page builders.
  • Knowledge of REST API and integrating third-party services.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with TutorLMS.
  • Experience with Git and version control systems.
  • Knowledge of headless WordPress and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
  • Familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel, Cloud, VPS, etc.).
  • Experience with website migration and deployment.
  • Understanding of UI/UX best practices.
