Job Overview

Bankai Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Deputy General Manager/GM - Talent Acquisition to lead and drive our talent acquisition strategy globally for the group.

This executive leadership position requires a seasoned professional who possesses both strategic insight and operational expertise in talent acquisition and workforce planning.

The individual will play a critical role in shaping and executing the recruitment strategy across the organization while fostering a high-performing team.

This position requires the ability to think strategically, lead a team, and ensure alignment with the company's goals and values globally.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Talent Acquisition Leadership:
    • Lead and develop a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the organization's short-term and long-term business objectives.
    • Design and execute workforce planning initiatives to ensure the timely acquisition of top-tier talent across all functions.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand talent needs and develop customized talent pipelines for key roles.
    • Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive intelligence to adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
  2. Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of recruiters, talent acquisition partners, and coordinators.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the talent acquisition function.
    • Develop and implement ongoing training and development programs to elevate the capabilities of the recruitment team.
    • Establish clear performance metrics and drive team success through regular feedback and recognition.
  3. Operational Excellence & Execution:
    • Oversee day-to-day recruitment operations to ensure efficiency, speed, and quality in the hiring process.
    • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure streamlined operations, data integrity, and compliance with hiring processes.
    • Implement strategies to enhance candidate experience, improve time-to-fill, and optimize cost-per-hire.
    • Monitor key recruitment KPIs and lead efforts to continuously optimize recruitment effectiveness and scalability.
  4. Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing:
    • Partner with marketing and communications teams to enhance employer brand and position the company as an employer of choice.
    • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the recruitment process to foster a diverse workforce.
    • Develop and execute targeted recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent across various channels.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership:
    • Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders and hiring managers, to understand their talent needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
    • Provide counsel and expertise to leadership on market trends, compensation benchmarking, and talent retention strategies.
    • Collaborate with the HR and business leadership teams to forecast future talent requirements and align recruitment strategies with business growth.
  6. Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Utilize data and analytics to drive insights and make informed decisions about recruitment strategies, pipeline health, and team performance.
    • Develop and report on talent acquisition performance dashboards to senior leadership and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
  7. Change Management & Innovation:
    • Champion continuous improvement and innovation within the talent acquisition function.
    • Lead change management initiatives related to recruitment processes, technologies, and tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in human resources or a related field.

MBA or advanced HR certifications preferred.

A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong leadership skills with experience leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of recruiters.

Expertise in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment tools, and HRIS platforms.

Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with senior leadership and influencing key stakeholders.

In-depth knowledge of talent market trends, recruitment best practices, and industry standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in a high-growth or global organization.

Familiarity with advanced recruitment technologies (AI, machine learning, etc.).

Experience with employer branding, recruitment marketing, and diversity & inclusion strategies.
