To support this expansion, we are recruiting a customer-obsessed, analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to join our FinOps Program Management Office (PMO). We're not an average company and this is definitely not your average business analyst position. Key job responsibilities
The BA performs detailed requirements analysis from a process, technology and people perspective, with a razor-sharp focus on the customer. You will:

•Independently work on finance requirements analysis, validation, verification and approval, ensuring that requirements are complete, consistent, feasible and traceable.

•Translate business and customer requirements, leveraging process and data analysis mechanisms to provide timely, meaningful and consumable information that drives significant business value.

•Work with Amazon's technical teams, process owners and finance subject matter experts to effectively design, develop, test and launch automated, scalable finance solutions that address customer needs while meeting our high controllership and compliance standards.

•Ensure requirements traceability and manage change requirements through effective change control processes and tools.

•Dive deep to evaluate business finance processes and identify problems and opportunities.

•Partner with operational teams and process owners to problem solve during design, testing and deployment. Ensure efficient transition to operational business-as-usual.

•Create business analysis artefacts and processes that can be standardized and repeated, increasing the maturity and effectiveness of our teams.

•Develop optimization and automation strategies of finance business processes.

•Influence stakeholders to ensure relevant deadlines are met; communicate critical information effectively to stakeholders, to facilitate rapid decision making and problem solving.

•Continuously share domain/process expertise across own organization Who are we looking for?

•To succeed, you will demonstrate the ability to work independently while dealing with high levels of ambiguity.

•You have a natural analytical way of thinking, diving deep into a problem, product and process and be able to explain difficult concepts to tech and non-tech stakeholders.

•Additionally, you will have a proven ability to learn quickly, distill complex scenarios into easily understandable synopses and communicate persuasively, in both written and oral form.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of finance, tax or a related analytical field experience, preferable in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivables.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field.
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
- Experience with process visualization tools (Visio, Draw.io).
- Experience with SQL and Data Analytics tools (Tableau, Quicksight).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with ERP-Systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP).
- Experience in defining requirements, supporting tools (Jira, Confluence) and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
- Certified in Business Analytics and/or Project Management (Prince2, PMI).
- Certified in Agile Methodologies (Scrum, PMI-ACP).
- Experience with Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions or power pivots).
