Software Requirements:

Extensive experience with the Murex platform, particularly in front office and risk management modules Familiarity with financial markets and instrument types supported by Murex Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies Knowledge of reporting tools and risk analytics Experience with integration tools and middleware technologies used with Murex Understanding of Murex DataMart, MXML, and Murex Workflows

Overall Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between the front office, risk departments, and IT to ensure Murex platform aligns with business requirements Analyze and document business processes and requirements, including front office trading activities and risk management strategies Configure and maintain Murex modules to support trading, risk management, and reporting needs Lead the design and implementation of system enhancements and work closely with developers to ensure accurate translation of business needs Perform functional analysis for new features and participate in the full project lifecycle from initiation to delivery Provide training and support to end-users and create detailed documentation

Category-Wise Technical Skills:

Front Office & Trading Systems: Deep understanding of trading desk operations, P&L reporting, and market data management within Murex Risk Management: Knowledge of risk measures (VaR, CVA, etc.), counterparty risk, and market risk management practices System Configuration: Experience in configuring and maintaining Murex FO, Risk, and DataMart modules Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to analyze data and generate reports that support front office and risk management decision-making

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within a Murex environment Experience in front office support or risk management within capital markets Proven track record in implementing or upgrading the Murex platform

Day-to-Day Activities:

Engage with stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements Translate business needs into functional specifications for Murex configurations Assist with the resolution of front office and risk-related issues on the Murex platform Conduct system testing to ensure quality and accuracy Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business users

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field Relevant certifications in financial markets, risk management, or Murex are highly regarded

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively Detail-oriented with an aptitude for learning and professional development Leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
