Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Developer / Project Manager to spearhead our Chit Fund software project. The ideal candidate is not just a skilled developer but also a strategic thinker with a profound understanding of the chit fund industry's operational workflows.

You will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from hands-on coding and architecture design to project management and team leadership. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a specialized product and make a significant impact in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our Chit Fund software using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) for web applications and Flutter for mobile applications.
  • Manage the project timeline, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on chit fund processes, translating industry requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
  • Mentor and guide our team of junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Interface with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure the product meets market needs.
  • Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for software development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proven, hands-on experience in developing Chit Fund software is mandatory. A deep understanding of chit fund auction processes, subscriber management, collection, accounting, and regulatory compliance is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Demonstrable experience in cross-platform mobile development using Flutter .
  • Experience in a leadership or project management role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in the Tamil language would be a significant advantage.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
