In this role, you will act as a bridge between our stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into actionable requirements. You will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and documenting business processes and workflows, as well as identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen understanding of business operations, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. As a Business Analyst, you will engage with different departments to understand their needs, recommend solutions, and ensure that implemented changes align with the company's strategic objectives. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and document business requirements.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Create detailed business requirement documents, process flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Support project management activities by assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of business initiatives.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure that solutions meet business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Identify the Problem areas for Process improvements and Technical Debts
  • Structure the solution to deliver the Desired outcomes
  • Maintain the JIRA board to align to the Scrum Teams and the Sprint cycles
  • Participate in Daily Scrum, Sprint planning, Refinement and Retrospection
  • Understand the vision of the Product and the Roadmap.
  • Assist in Product planning and workflow visualization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with at least 3-5 years of experience.
  • Possess functional knowledge related to Banking and Payments with global experience (preferred) and an understanding of industry best practices in the Payments domain
  • Have a passion for the Payments domain, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Are knowledgeable of Acquirer processing, Card networks, schemes, Faster Payments, PSPs, and alternative payment methods (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of business processes and systems.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, draw.io, Whimsical and project management software (Jira).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team in a fast-paced environment.
