Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CAD Trainer-Civil at EduCADD Learning Solutions, located in Marathahalli, Bengaluru. Primary responsibilities include training students and professionals in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software relevant to Construction industry. This role involves conducting classroom and online sessions and helping learners develop practical CAD skills to prepare them for industry requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging training sessions on Civil CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, SketchUp, Etabs, StaadPro, Lumion etc.)
  • Knowledge on Revit MEP or StaadPro or Etabs will be added advantage
  • Develop, update, and deliver comprehensive training programs, manuals and materials tailored to mechanical engineering design
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations, workshops and project-based learning experiences
  • Assess the progress and performance of trainees, providing feedback and mentorship as needed
  • Offer technical assistance, troubleshooting and support during practical sessions
  • Stay current with changes in CAD software, industry standards, and technological advancements
  • Customise instructional methods based on student proficiency and learning styles
  • Organise and supervise practical projects to enhance applied learning
  • Maintain training records and track batch progress
  • Coordinate with other trainers and management for continuous improvement of training modules
  • Deliver quality training and develop good rapport with leaners to ensure positive training reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil/Architectural Engineering, Design, or a related field
  • Proficiency in major civil CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, SketchUp, Etabs, StaadPro, Lumion etc..), demonstrated by certifications or substantial hands-on experience
  • Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience is highly preferred
  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to break down and explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Previous experience in CAD training or civil engineering roles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for teaching and fostering skill development
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and patience to work with diverse learners.
