JD – Legal Assistant Manager/ Manager About GRG Health: GRG Health (A Growman Group Company) is an awarded, global healthcare knowledge services and market research company head quartered in Pune (India) with offices in Gurgaon, Bangalore, Boston (USA) and Singapore. GRG Health is working on developing machine learning models that can be implemented in traditional insights gathering and analytics approach. Our dedicated teams of data scientists are working with a few clients on pilot run of our AI engine. Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Manager to join our in-house legal team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in general corporate law, commercial contracting, regulatory advisory, and legal documentation, with a preferable background in the real estate sector. This role will involve direct engagement with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and external counsel to ensure legal compliance and manage risk effectively across business operations. Job Specification: • LLB from a recognized university; candidates with CS will be an added advantage. • 5 – 8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with exposure to real estate companies or projects . • Sound knowledge of contract law, property laws, RERA, Companies Act, and general commercial law. • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage time efficiently, close issues quickly and effectively. • Should be a self-starter. • Proficient in MS Office and legal research tools. Roles & Responsibilities: Corporate Legal & Advisory • Provide end-to-end legal support for day-to-day business operations. • Advise business teams on general corporate and commercial legal issues, including risk assessment and mitigation. • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements (NDAs, vendor agreements, consultancy contracts, lease deeds, MOUs, LOIs, etc.). • Support compliance requirements including with company laws, RERA etc. Dispute Management • Draft legal notices, responses, and support internal teams in pre-litigation strategy. • Represent the company in front of quasi-judicial authorities and coordinate with external legal resources for court appearances, if required. Compliance & Regulatory • Managing statutory compliance with laws pertaining to – labour, Companies Act, IT, real estate, Shops & Establishments and other laws that may govern the business of the Company. • Support periodic compliance audits and maintain legal documentation and records. • Assist in filings and correspondence with company secretary, government departments and stakeholders. Stakeholder & Documentation Support • Work closely with business, finance, HR, and operations teams for legal input on transactions and strategic initiatives. • Maintain legal database, contract repository, and track key obligations and deadlines.
