Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Active Directory & Email/Domain MigrationSpecialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience inmanaging Active Directory (AD) environments, leading email and domain migrations, andensuring seamless integration across systems. You will play a key role in planning,executing, and supporting the migration of Active Directory, email services (e.g., MicrosoftExchange, Office 365), and domain infrastructure to meet organizational requirements.Key Responsibilities:• Active Directory Management:o Administer and maintain Active Directory environments, including user accounts, groups, organizational units (OUs), and security policies.o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory replication, Group Policy, and domain controller performance.o Implement and manage Active Directory forests, domains, and trusts.o Conduct regular audits, backups, and recovery of Active Directory data.o Ensure proper user provisioning and de-provisioning workflows.• Email & Domain Migrations:o Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of email and domain migrations (on-premise Exchange, Office 365, Google Workspace).o Migrate email systems, domains, and associated resources with minimal downtime and disruption.o Configure and migrate mailboxes, distribution lists, public folders, and contacts to new environments.o Manage DNS records, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations during migration processes to ensure seamless mail flow.o Implement and support hybrid cloud environments (Exchange/Office 365)and related tools.• Technical Support & Troubleshooting:o Provide technical support to users and teams during migration efforts, addressing issues related to access, permissions, and connectivity.o Resolve complex technical issues related to Active Directory, email systems, and domain infrastructure.o Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that changes are implemented successfully and meet business needs.• Project Management & Documentation:o Develop and maintain detailed project plans for Active Directory and email/domain migration projects.o Document migration strategies, processes, configurations, and post-migration reviews.o Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices duringall stages of migration.• Training & Knowledge Sharing:o Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior staff and end users regarding new Active Directory configurations, email systems, and domain management.o Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, tools, and best practices for AD management, email migration, and domain configurations.Qualifications:• Education:o Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relatedfield, or equivalent work experience.• Experience:o 5+ years of experience with Active Directory administration, including experience with domain controllers, Group Policy, replication, and security configurations.o 3+ years of experience leading email migrations (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Google Workspace).o Strong understanding of DNS, SMTP, LDAP, and security protocols (e.g.SSL, TLS, etc.).o Proven experience with domain migrations (internal/external DNS, domain trusts, etc.) and supporting cloud environments (Office 365, Exchange Online).• Certifications (preferred):o Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associateo Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Identity and Access Administratoro Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentalso CompTIA Security+, or other relevant certifications• Technical Skills:o Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, Office 365 Administration, and Exchange Hybrid Configurations.o Expertise in Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and related technologies.o Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for Active Directory and Exchange automation tasks.o Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and related networking protocols.• Soft Skills:o Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.o Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across teams and interact with end users.o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Connect.• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.• Experience with cloud-based migration tools and third-party migration software
