Accountability Cluster Major Activities / Tasks Establishing best-in-class sourcing strategies for Capex Procurement Categories (Items related to Infra – Mechanical supply and services). Float RFQ, prepare comparative statements, ensure approval as per DOA & follow up for deliveries. Long-term contracts & Savings & Target Identify opportunities for Long-term contracts Continuous endeavour for cost reduction and achieving savings as per guidelines. Performance measures against goal / targets Resolution of transactional issues Resolve issues related to local taxes, withholding taxes etc. involves interaction with CFTs like finance and taxation. Interaction with vendors & finance for resolving any payment-related issues. De-Risking & Business Continuity plans Anticipate cost escalations and materials/service unavailability and implement the required strategy to ensure the least business risk. Continuous Engagement with the CFT team for timely execution of alternate vendor development wherever possible. Build & nurture strategic relations with key vendors to ensure preferential treatment to Cipla in terms of technical assistance, pricing & delivery of materials Regularly connect with vendors to ensure correct exchange of information and continuously share their performance and our expectations. Providing Vendors, with the upcoming requirement for their proper planning. Stakeholder Management Engage with internal stakeholders including finance, Production, Engineering, Logistics, Import clearance etc. for issue resolutions and ensure concerns are addressed with proper resolution. Sustainability Activities as per EHS & CS team guidelines Site and Vendor Visits Field visits (own sites/ vendor sites) if required
