INDUSTRY SPECIFIC SKILLS : Preparation of Equipment Layouts, MTO for Piping Bulk and Piping Specialty, Tender for Piping Fabrication and installation, Insulation and allied mechanical works

EXPERIENCE: 5 - 10 years' experience in detailed engineering related to Piping discipline in Oil and Gas Offshore projects in an Engineering consultancy or EPC contracting company.

ROLE DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead team of Piping leads for Project / Proposal Responsible for discipline related Prebid Engineering and manage the respective post award detailed engineering, deliverables and battery limit interface management. Identify and Piping Engineering Deliverable and review to ensure completeness and compliance to schedule and report progress on Engineering deliverables.  Participate/Support detailed Engineering and perform checks of Piping engineering drawings and calculations of upstream piping for oil and gas production.  Preparation of Equipment Layouts, MTO for Piping Bulk and Piping Specialty, Tender for Piping Fabrication and installation, Insulation and allied mechanical works. Ensure compatibility of the design with other engineering disciplines and ensure that the piping system design meets the requirements of the client/ operability and regulatory organizations, etc.  Prepare/coordinate 3D models, detection of clashes, generation of GADs and Isometrics and final MTO, conduction of stress value analysis /and surge analysis. Prepare specifications/datasheets for pipes and fittings-valves, bends, tees etc and technical evaluation of the vendors quote for completeness. Familiarity with P& I Diagrams for Oil and Gas Projects and usage of Caesar II engineering software and PDS tools - and checks conformance to codes like API , IBR and ASME and other applicable international codes for piping generally used in Oil and Gas projects.
