This is an opportunity to develop new AI capabilities from the ground up, collaborate directly with experts, and make a tangible impact on climate.Who are we looking forPragmatic with a positive attitude and a strong team player with a sense of ownership.Someone looking to build something from the ground up.Operates well in ambiguity and can easily pick up new technologies.A proactive go-getter who thrives under pressure.Prior experience with early-stage startups (bonus).What You’ll Work OnBuild and deploy intelligent agentic workflows using LLMs, retrieval systems, and multi-step reasoning that integrate with our data and software ecosystem.Design robust pipelines for the extraction and processing of information from unstructured dataCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate real user needs into scalable AI solutions.Lead performance evaluation, reliability improvements, and safe deployment of AI systems.Shape our AI strategy and contribute to high-impact product initiatives.What You BringBuilt and shipped production-grade agentic LLM systems with continuous monitoring, real-world performance evaluation, and iterative improvements.Proficient in Python and familiarity with modern AI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI Agents/Assistants, LlamaIndex, etc.).Hands-on experience with RAG, embeddings, vector DBs, prompt design, and agent orchestration.Ability to design multi-step agentic systems that interact with external APIs and tools.Strong software fundamentals: testing, CI/CD, code quality, cloud infra (AWS preferred).Collaborative mindset and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment.Nice to HaveFamiliarity with document-processing, PDF parsing, or IR systems.MLOps experience (monitoring, observability, scaling).Interest in climate, sustainability, or environmental intelligence.What’s in it for youOpportunity to be at the forefront of climate change and positively impact the worldWork closely with the founding team to develop a world-class product in a new and meaningful industry.Be part of the early team and accelerate your career as the company grows.Join us at Calyx Global and help us build a sustainable future
