Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Funding Manager with a Chartered Accountant background to lead our fundraising and financial growth efforts. This is not a traditional accounting role—it's a high-impact position focused on capital acquisition, investor engagement, real estate financial planning, and startup funding strategy. The ideal candidate is both analytically strong and business-savvy, with a deep understanding of financing models, banking instruments, and early-stage capital structuring.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Raising & Strategy

  • Design and implement fundraising strategies across banks, NBFCs, investors, and other financial institutions.
  • Secure project-specific and enterprise-level funding to support real estate development and business expansion.
  • Evaluate and structure financing options to align with long-term organizational goals.

Investor Management

  • Build and nurture relationships with angel investors, venture capital firms, family offices, and seed funders.
  • Create compelling pitch decks, investment proposals, and financial forecasts.
  • Lead investor meetings, manage communications, and ensure ongoing engagement and reporting.

Banking & Financial Institution Liaison

  • Drive loan negotiations, credit facility arrangements, and term sheet evaluations.
  • Manage documentation, due diligence, and statutory compliance for financial partnerships.
  • Optimize borrowing structures for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Startup & Seed Funding Expertise

  • Guide founders on capital dilution strategies, seed funding timelines, and investor valuation discussions.
  • Remain updated on evolving fundraising trends, instruments, and ecosystem developments.

Real Estate Finance & Investment

  • Conduct financial feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and risk assessment for real estate ventures.
  • Collaborate with architects and project teams on pricing strategies and funding alignment.
  • Analyze market dynamics to support strategic property investments.

Cash Flow & Financial Health

  • Monitor and manage company-wide cash flow, ensuring liquidity and investment readiness.
  • Support budgeting, working capital optimization, and financial forecasting.
  • Advise on cost controls, reserve planning, and revenue acceleration strategies.

Key Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, or financial strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in raising capital for startups, real estate, or high-growth companies.
  • Deep knowledge of startup valuation, cap tables, investor expectations, and funding cycles.
  • Exposure to real estate project financing, including development economics and cost modeling.
  • Proficient in financial documentation, audit preparation, and loan compliance (without day-to-day bookkeeping).
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
