Job Purpose / Summary:

The Regional Sales Head - Agri Business is responsible for leading, managing, and expanding the agricultural business portfolio within a designated region. This role entails strategic planning, client relationship management, business development, and operational oversight to ensure alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. The position demands deep knowledge of the agriculture sector, financial acumen, and leadership capabilities to drive sustainable growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement regional business strategies to achieve growth targets in the agriculture sector.

- Analyze market trends, industry developments, and client needs to identify business opportunities.

- Ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives and policies.

- Build and expand the customer base by identifying and acquiring new clients in the agriculture industry.

- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.

- Act as the primary point of contact for key regional clients, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing regional team.

- Monitor team performance against targets and provide training and development opportunities.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity within the team.

- Monitor the financial performance of the regional portfolio, including profitability, asset quality, and risk management.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the agri-business portfolio.

Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required:

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Relevant Job Experience:

- 12 years of experience in agribusiness, banking, or related industries, with a proven record of accomplishment in business development and team leadership.

Key Skills:

- In-depth understanding of the agriculture sector, supply chains of Agri Eco-system, and financial services.

- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.

- Financial and analytical expertise with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting.

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build long-term relationships.

- Familiarity with Agri-finance tools, products, and digital platforms.
