We are seeking a talented individual to join our Software Engineer team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Noida. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Principal Engineer - Applications Development

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the development and delivery of our high-quality Darwin™ product. We are looking for a passionate individual with effective and efficient software development skills to help us innovate and enhance our software solutions.

We will count on you to:Supports and assists senior developers in developing codes, tests and debugs of software programs and enhancements to meet project plan goals.Works under guidance from senior software developers.Assists with repairing coding problems.Provides technical support to internal clients on existing problems, escalates as appropriate.Monitors trends and results from technical support calls to advises senior team members on performance of existing systems.Designing and developing our main product, Darwin. You will be coding the front-end using Angular and the business layer services in C#Ensuring you and others continuously improve by proposing and then implementing new designs and engineering practices that make your team more effective

What you need to have: Solid commercial experience in enterprise application developmentDesigning and developing systems that are maintainable, scalable, extensible, reliable and secureFront-end development, using the latest web technologies, to create user-friendly and accessible user experiencesWorking in multi-disciplined teams including Architecture, Quality Engineering, Product Management, UX

Understanding of:Object-Oriented Programming fundamentalsCommon design patterns and SOLID principlesDebugging and general problem-solving skillsAgile development methodology along with full software development life cycle experienceProactive communication and cross-group collaborationWeb performance, testability, accessibility and securityHTTP(S) and other common communication protocolsRESTful APIs

Demonstrable experience in:C# .NetASP.Net CoreHTML & CSSTypeScriptWeb APIWritten and verbal communication with stakeholders in English
