This is a hands-on technical leadership role — designed for someone who can bridge product context, system architecture, and execution depth. You’ll partner directly with the CTO to codify and evolve MeasureOne’s architecture across our microservices ecosystem, data pipelines, and API framework. You will design, build, and guide by doing — working deeply within our systems and teams to elevate design quality, scalability, and maintainability. What you’ll be doing  Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level product features in collaboration with cross-functional teamsParticipate in architecture and system design discussions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performanceWrite clean, efficient, and testable code following best industry practicesTroubleshoot and optimize existing modules for performance and efficiencyWork closely with the product and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutionsTake full ownership of deliverables — from ideation to deployment in productionSkills you need to succeed in this roleKey ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Ownership:Design, evolve, and document end-to-end system architectures across backend, frontend, and infrastructure layers. Establish standards for scalability, maintainability, and performance.Hands-On Contribution: Write and review high-quality, production-ready code. Set technical direction through code, not just through documents.System Design Leadership:Drive the evolution of our platform architecture across services, APIs, and data layers. Evaluate trade-offs between technologies, design patterns, and implementation strategies.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with engineering leads, product managers, and infrastructure teams to align technical strategy with business goals. Provide architectural mentorship to senior engineers.Performance, Resilience, and Observability:Ensure systems are designed for testability, reliability, and traceability. Champion quality gates, CI/CD best practices, and continuous improvement in developer productivity.Required Tech Expertise Languages & Frameworks:Deep, hands-on experience in Java, Node.js, GoLang, and hands-on knowledge of React or AngularJS.Architecture: Strong understanding of object-oriented design, domain-driven architecture, microservices, and scalable service patterns.Cloud & DevOps: Practical exposure to AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation pipelines.
